NEET 2022

Here are 5 of the most effective and quick revision strategies to crack NEET UG 2022 which is scheduled to be conducted on 17th July.

NEET or the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is one of the most difficult entrance exams in India, for which lakhs of students appear every year. Amongst all those who appear, only a few get a preferred seat in their desired medical college. Students who fail to crack the exam usually choose to make another attempt. As the number of seats is limited in this examination, every aspiring student must be prepared well in advance.

To ace this highly competitive exam, it is important for students to revise all the important concepts strategically. The syllabus of NEET is vast, and it consists of multiple concepts from different subjects like physics, chemistry, botany, and zoology that need to be understood and retained in mind. An effective revision strategy can be made by making a schedule for the syllabus of each subject.

NEET preparation involves the syllabus of Classes 11th and 12th, for which NCERT books are essential. NCERT books must be used for revision, as they help with understanding the concepts in a better way. The following points can be followed for quick and effective revision.

The topics that require another round of revision can be marked with the yellow colour, while topics that need extensive revision can be marked with the red colour. Students can also colour topics/ concepts based on priority. With only a few days left for the examination, students will be aware of topics that need to be prioritised.

4. PRACTISING PAST YEARS NEET QUESTION PAPER AND MOCK TESTS

Solving question papers from past years and appearing for timed mock tests is the best way to gain insights into the types of questions, the difficulty of questions, and the importance of topics. Before the examination, it is best that students avoid reading books repeatedly, and instead practice questions as much as possible.
